Habitat: Dense tropical forest, scrub, mountains, deciduous forest

 

Distribution: Island of Java, Indonesia

 

Threats: Habitat loss, agricultural expansion and poaching prey-base depletion

 

Wild Fact I: Total remaining habitat is estimated to be only 2.267.9 to 3,277.3 square kilometers

 

Wild Fact II: Javan Leopards are known to prey on Javan Gibbons
