Habitat: Tropical forest, savannah (but can range all over the Island habitats)

 

Distribution: Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rinca, Gili Motong and Padar

 

Threats: Illegal hunting, habitat loss

 

Wild Fact I: Komodo Dragons can run up to 20 km/hr

 

Wild Fact II: A female Komodo Dragon can lay between 15-30 eggs
