Distribution: Western Australia

 

Habitat: Grasslands, semi-arid and arid woodlands

 

Threats: Invasive pest (foxes, cats etc)

 

Wild Fact I: Numbats require up to 20,000 ants per day

 

Wild Fact II: Although it is a marsupial, Numbats do not have a pouch
